To help student more fully appreciate their nature, the course provides a solid technical overview of operating systems, using a new OS products for application case study. In addition to technical concerns, this subject addresses the each of: operating system s features, OS modules management, OS infrastructure and system performance evaluation. Objectives : At the completion of this course, students should be able to do thefollowing: 1. Getting an overview of computer organization and its structure. 2. Understand the fundamentals of computer operating systems with the concepts of programs, processes, threads and tasks. 3. Understand the functionality of computer operation. 4. The abilities of how detect software errors and hardware faults. 5. Having a good practical experience in computer system field. 6.Treating with various hardware resources that are daily been used the computer system.
